Dapo Akinosun SAN

Dapo Akinosun is the Managing Partner at SimmonsCooper Partners. Dapo heads the Energy & Infrastructure practice, and is a key member of the Dispute Resolution team.
Dapo litigates a wide range of civil and commercial disputes in trial and appellate courts and represents clients in arbitration proceedings. He has also been involved in some of the most interesting election petition matters in Nigeria. Dapo has carved a niche in energy law, providing guidance in many aspects of the energy and natural resources sectors. He has presented several papers and featured as panelist in energy conferences in Nigeria and across the globe. He has also published insightful articles, and is a regular guest on National television programmes, where his expert analysis and opinion is always sought.

Darlington Okougha

Darlington’s Finance Management experience of over two decades cuts across Downstream, Service, Power and the Upstream sectors of the Oil and Gas industry gained at Texaco Nigeria; Schlumberger Nigeria as Treasurer, and Divisional Controller, AES Corporation as Country Financial Controller; and until recently BG Nigeria.

His most recent career at BG Group in Nigeria commenced in 2006 as Chief Accountant, and in 2009 he took up the role of Finance Manager at BG Group’s significant North Sea portfolio based in Aberdeen Scotland, a position he held until his return to Nigeria in late 2011 for the position of Head, Finance, and Information Technology.
